They obviously secretly hate the game and want the devs to fail, by providing poor press coverage by exposing present and potential Subnautica fans to a potentially unsafe site aimed at trapping/baiting people who actually click on those obviously dangerous giant 'click here for free download stuff' ads, and by basically telling people to steal the game so the devs run out of money and have to shelve the game possibly indefinitely before it is properly completed, or otherwise to pester the heck out of the devs why a free download is not working (the latter of which is nice because then the devs get alerted to the issue and can BatPhone whatever legal people they have to go BanHammer some stuff with legal paperwork and takedown notices and whatnot).īecause devs are people to, and they have to eat, pay bills, maybe also pay rent/mortgage (or save up for taxes for actually owned homes), fund developer exploiting extortion artists pay fees for licensing expensive developer software/hardware, etc, and is overall suggesting people should go download a full version of game for free, and to 'not' support the devs in any way, shape or form, is in itself the worst thing ever to do. avast me maties, I think I see a pirate hiding over on yonder website.

I only see those on "We want money, please take some malware we don't see because we make money to spread it around without asking questions" minded sites. Call me paranoid,, but all of the huge green button clickbait ads sends up lots and lots of red flags for me.
